Family Support Coordinator

Maddie is a part-time Family Support Coordinator at the Ronald McDonald House Boston where she provides compassionate, trauma-informed, and family-centeredsupport to caregivers and children facing complex medical challenges. She began her work with Ronald McDonald House New England as an intern in Charleston, South Carolina, supporting family services programming, nonprofit initiatives, and community engagement for families with hospitalized children.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the College of Charleston, with minors in Biology and Medical Humanities, shaping her holistic approach to care and public health practice. She is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health at Boston University, concentrating on maternal and child health, with a strong interest in designing equitable and sustainable health programs for maternal and pediatric populations, particularly within underserved communities. Maddie is dedicated to strengthening caregiver support systems and advancing impactful health program creation through collaboration, cultural humility, and community partnership.

New to Boston, in her free time she likes to spend time with friends, read, cook new recipes and explore all the city has to offer!
